Description: I had to keep asking my niece if she wanted to hold the torch and she kept saying "no". So I finally said, if you don't get to hold it and it comes and goes will you be upset? and she said she would. So I kind of pushed her over to the lady so she could ask if she could hold it.

Description: I was recently asked to be on the Dusty Attic Design team, they are a manufacturer of beautiful laser cut embellishments based in Australia. This is the first l/o I made with some of their goodies! I used the beautiful new paper collection by BasicGrey called Kioshi! The photo is a pic of my nephew's newborn baby girl (14 days old!)...as soon as I saw this cute little pic of her, I knew I had to use this collection for the photo! Description: As soon as I saw this Fancy Pants paper collection I knew it would be the right papers to use with this recent photo I took of my dear husband with our pup! In order to keep with a more masculine look on the page I tore myself away from my blooms :) and made up the 'cat-tails' embellishment by cutting some pieces of the green patterned paper and some brown carstock and pieced together this embellishment. Thanks for having a peek!

Description: My oldest dd had to deal with a girl who was being unkind at school. In thinking of a way to give advice I thought this comment was helpful.... "Before you criticize someone Walk a mile in their shoes, That way when you do criticize them, You are a mile away and you have their shoes" LOL!...sometimes you need to just have a sense of humour about things! The patterened paper is Webster's Pages Winter Wings, the blooms Prima.

Description: This is a pic of me and my sweet pup...now 13 years old...she's rarely every away from my side! The papers used for this page are the Websters Pages Winter Wings collection...the bloom is one I made myself!....I tried to copy the look of the Prima Romani collection by twisting some twill and attaching it to a piece of cardstock...the center rose and tiny roses are all made from carstock using a quilling technique. (After making these blooms my DH asked how long it took me...and how much the real ones cost....heehee, he came to the conclusion it is far more worth it to simply by the Prima ones!! :)

Description: This is a photo my DH took of me and the girls on a walk a few weeks ago. I used a combination of Fancy Pants 'Christmas Magic' papers and Websters Pages Holiday papers. I made the blooms by cutting out a few layers of different size patterned papers, then using the eye of a scissor I put the cut paper piece in my palm and push the rounded handle of the scissor into my palm creating a little cup shape. Layer them and paste to the page....added a little pearl paint or glitter to the edges (white puffy paint would add an nice snowy/winter look to these)
